He showed incredible humility and shared with us his journey as an artist. It was inspiring. The opportunity to meet Walt Reed at Illustration House was something I never thought I would ever get to do. I have so many of his books on American illustration that have really been a part of my life. It was a wonderful trip. The lunch at the Society of Illustrators members restaurant was outstanding too.
