This is a wonderful idea.
I like the idea of using a few more saints as well as sinners.
How about St Francis, Theresa of Avila, Florence Nightingale, Sojourner Truth, John Wesley and Christopher Edwards to name but a few... Meister Eckhart, Siddhartha the Buddha and there are many interesting mystics like Rumi, the Baal Shem Tov and Yogananda's spiritual guru Shri Yukteshwar (sp?)
Kings and Queens were often bloated with self, but saints always gave to their environment, which makes them more like animals who live in harmony with their environment
